A cosy Music Living Room, open to the community, is opening on Gediminas Avenue. The events held here continue an old tradition of Lithuanian musicians' activities, which has been going on for decades: during the event, there is a direct communication with the audience, and the opportunity to ask questions and get answers allows you to get to know both the music being performed and the performers better. Saulijus Sondeckis's piano adds to the charm of the events taking place on the site.
This time the singer Edita Biliūtė, the violinist Dalia Šešelgienė and the pianist Elena Šešelgytė will be performing the works of W.A. Mozart, J. Brahms and O. Respighi. Edita Biliūtė is a graduate of the Academy of Music of Vytautas Magnus University. Her first successful concerts, performances at the 14th International Classical Music Festival of the Dainava Country, the International Belvedere Competition, and the opportunity to improve her skills in various masterclasses, among which the most important is her acquaintance with Professor Dr. Alexander Mayr (Austria) at the International Rhodope Summer Music Academy in Bulgaria, have opened her paths to the international stage - she has given concerts in Poland, Bulgaria, France, the United Kingdom, Cyprus. Currently Edita is preparing new programmes and actively performing with Dalia Šešelgienė, a graduate of the Lithuanian State Conservatoire (violin class of Prof. S. Sondeckis). For many years she played in the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and toured with it. She has also been a member of the quartet "Akademija" for a long time. She shares her experience at the masterclasses at the Fondation Bell' Arte in Brussels.
Elena Šešelgytė studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, in the class of Prof. D. Blumenthal. Already after the first year of her studies in Brussels, Elena won a competition and went to Vienna to study with Otto Probst. She has given concerts in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Japan, the USA and, of course, Lithuania.
