Lydma Petroševska's Christmas cabaret, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the living classic of modern culture.
Popular theater and film actors Varvara Šmikova and Artūras Smoljaninovas will join the legendary writer and singer Lydma Petroševska and her famous cabaret scene "Legendos Klubas" in Vilnius.
The play based on Petroševska's texts, which have long become classics, will be performed by two stars: the star of the series "Chike", one of the most prominent theater actors of her generation, Varvara Šmikova, and the recent premiere of the "Sovremennik" theater, also known from the time of the "Ninth Rotation", Artur Smolyaninova.
Paradoxes and aphorisms, short jokes and lines of different lengths come together in this show with fun and exciting songs in the pre-war Petroševska Cabaret. At the age of 85, Mrs. Ludvika creates plays and prose, novels and haikus, poems and fairy tales, paints pictures, dances and is absolutely charming, wittily interpreting the main cabaret hits from the history of the genre - Polish and French, German and Gypsy, Jewish and American - mixed with songs , which Petroševska composed herself, but which sound like you've known them since childhood.
