Daumantas Kirilauskas is a Lithuanian pianist. He has given concerts in European countries, USA, Iran. He has performed with all Lithuanian orchestras, as well as with Sinfonietta Riga from Latvia, Lappeenranta City Orchestra from Finland, Kremerata Baltica Soloists. He is a participant of many festivals, including frequent guests of the international Thomas Mann and Gaida festivals.
The pianist's repertoire spans the period from the Baroque to the most recent compositions of the 21st century. An important part of his repertoire is the works of Ludwig van Beethoven. In addition to solo works, the pianist has played extensively in chamber ensembles with renowned Lithuanian and foreign soloists and ensembles, including the Artis-Quartett of Vienna. He has participated in many premieres.
Daumantas Kirilauskas has released 17 solo albums. Daumantas' recording of Felix Bajor's composition 'Sideralis' was released by RMN Classical in 2018. Many of his recordings are stored in the archives of Lithuanian Radio. Kirilauskas' piano tracks have been featured in numerous films and plays.
Graduate of the M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (1991). He studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where he graduated with the highest distinction, obtaining a Master of Arts degree. His teachers were Liucija Drąsutienė (from 1984 to 1994) and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling (from 1994 to 2000).
Daumantas Kirilauskas is a prize-winner of national and international competitions. Since 2019 Daumantas Kirilauskas is a Bösendorder Artist.
In 2021 he was awarded the "Golden Disk" by the Lithuanian Musicians' Union for his active concert activity and high artistic level.
Since 2024 he has been a professor at the LAMT Department of Piano and Organ.
