The Kaunas music ensemble Ainiai has prepared this programme together with tango dancers. The musical compositions will be accompanied by small theatrical and choreographic mise-en-scenes, whose musical and choreographic narratives will be conveyed by the soloists of the ensemble Ainiai - Justina Tomkutė-Petraitienė (soprano), Rytis Janilionis (baritone), instrumentalists and the pair of dancers Carlos and Brigita Rodrigues.

The ensemble's new programme will include a bunch of compositions that have been described as the classics of tango. Carlos Gardel's Por Una Cabeza from the last century and Astor Piazzolla's Adios Nonino are known as the calling cards of tango. As well as a whole range of vocal and instrumental compositions, the original arrangements were created by the ensemble's concertmaster and birby player Narimantas Murauskas.

The Argentine tango is not only a dance, but also a story about our lives and the strings of our souls. This time the tango will be performed with the timbres of the concert dulcimer, violin, birbini and accordion, and the emotional music will be accompanied by an original creative alliance of dancers and teachers Carlos and Brigita Rodrigues, as well as the Kaunas music ensemble Ainiai.
