Orchestra plyed at Lithuanian music festivals – the Pažaislis muzic festival, International Young Musicians festival, at the festivals of composers M. K. Čiurlionis and E. Grieg, international contemporary music festival “Iš arti“, classical and jazz music summer festival “Marijampolė Music Park“ and in many others. Also at festivals in other countries: “Fjord Cadenza“ (Norway), “Murten Classics“ (Switzerland) and “Settimana Mozartiana“ (Italy).
Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra gives concerts not only in Lithuania, but also in foreign countries – Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Findland, Switzerland, etc.

In 2020, the Orchestra celebrated 15 years anniversary, many exclusive and significant projects have been implemented during those years, plenty of memorable concerts – not only of classical but also popular, rock and jazz music – had been included into the biography. The Orchestra has had the privilege to play with the legendary bands and artists of the world, such as “The Scorpions” and “Electric Light Orchestra”, “Smokie”, Sarah Brightman, Bonnie Tyler, Gregory Porter, Chris Norman, Robert Wells and Maggie Reilly.
Over the past seasons, the orchestra has made a remarkable series of recordings, produced tremendously successful projects and had the honor of performing together with the world’s most famous soloists, who are welcome guests at the most important opera houses in the world, such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, Milan’s La Scala, and Vienna State Opera – Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Marco Caria, Lawrence Brownlee, Charles Castronovo, Stephen Costello, John Osborn, José Carreras, Stefano Secco, bosas Ildar Abdrazakov, Nadine Sierra, Ekaterina Siurina, Isabel Bayrakdarian, Oksana Dyka, Asmik Grigorian, Lynette Tapia, Barbara Frittoli, Veronika Dzhioeva, Elīna Garanča, Oksana Volkova and it‘s are just some of the great‘s have performed with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra of Lithuania.
The Orchestra‘s discography consists of more than twenty CDs that have been released in collaboration with the legendary classical record label “Delos”.
The Recordings have been met with tremendous critical and audiences acclaim and have been nominated for the prestigious world classical music awards such as the Grammy Awards, the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) and others.
