Rokas Valuntonis has won top prizes at more than 20 international piano competitions in Lithuania, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands and Germany. Highlights: 2010 - 1st Prize and Bluthner piano at the International Nordic Piano Competition in Malmö, Sweden; 2011 - 2nd Prize at the International M. K. Čiurlionis Piano Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania; 2013 - 2nd Prize at the International M. - 1st Prize at the Societa Umanitaria Music Competition in Milan, Italy; 2018 - 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition in Campillos, Spain. R. Valuntonis actively performs in the biggest cities of Europe, the United Kingdom, Asian countries, and also in the famous Lithuanian halls. He is currently based in London, where he has been working with the City Music Foundation since 2017. The critically acclaimed pianist is frequently invited to international festivals for solo recitals and collaborations with orchestras and chamber ensembles.
