- John Downland (1563-1626) Lacrimae
- John Downland Come Again, Sweet Love
- The programme is quite varied, but not only will we be sticking to the trio tonight, but we'll also be sticking together our entire programme perfectly, which will be an interesting journey through ancient eras. Theodore and I will start the concert with a Handel aria, followed by a lute and cello duet: Falconieri - Suave melodia. Later, I will jump to Spain with my guitar and perform two Spanish dances from Granada. Then Theodore would ask for Guoda's help with the Vanhal variations with cello. After that we would return to the Renaissance, I would play a solo in Dowlando Lacrimae, and with Teodoro's voice we would do Come Again, Sweet Love. At the end of the concert Marta would join us with two pieces. The first one would be a GPW, and we haven't chosen the second one yet... We are still thinking about how, but it would be really nice if Marta would read something suitable between some of the pieces. So that's what our trip would be like and we'd love to take you along!

From the Transcendental Etudes for piano...
The dilemma of Paul Andersson, a well-known Lithuanian pianist of the younger generation, is that in his life and in his concert programme "Musicians' Triangle" he finds himself caught between two women who love him - his wife Julia and his mother Alexandra. How to get out of it, how to balance, how to pay enough attention to both of them...?
Julia and Paul, a couple both on stage and in life, will perform César Franck's Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major, considered one of the most beautiful chamber opuses, Julia and Alexandra will relive together Fritz Kreisler's "The Sorrow of M" and "The Joy of Love", while the son-mother duet will recall for a moment a carefree childhood and bring the audience back to today's virtuosic urgencies.
